Biography
Julie Matthews is a licensed landscape architect with extensive design experience across a broad range of project types and scales. Julie's portfolio includes large-scale campus redevelopments, urban green infrastructure, historic institutional landscapes, and bespoke residential gardens, underpinning her unique depth of knowledge in professional practice and design.
Julie earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, with a minor in Sociology, from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. She has held roles in the design studios of Oehme, van Sweden in Washington, D.C., as well as the Berger Partnership and Land Morphology, both in Seattle, Washington. Julie currently lives in Tucson, where she practices independently and enjoys soaking in the Sonoran Desert landscape on walks with her dog, Maddy.
