1. What brought you to CAPLA, and where did you work before joining the college?

I was really excited when this posting opened up, as I have always admired and been a fan of CAPLA—the work, the people, the environments, the buildings, the garden—everything about it!

Before this, I was most recently a Pre-Health Advisor at The A Center.

I love meeting with students, strategizing, problem-solving and getting people ready for their careers!

4. What do you enjoy about working with students?

I have been working with students directly for over 10 years, and my favorite part is seeing them feeling accomplished, happy and excited about what they are learning!

5. What do you find most challenging for your job, and how have you overcome that?

The most difficult thing is managing all of the duties that can sometimes overlap, and I overcome it by diligent time management, taking breaks and staying well-rounded/healthy/holistic!

6. Beyond your job, what are your passions?

Outside of work, you can find me outdoors, at the yoga studio or with my loved ones!
